Privacy and cookies
What this site collects, only with your consent, and your rights.
Last updated: 25 September 2026.
This page explains which personal data lauragalliarchitetto.com collects, why, and what you can do about it, as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Italian cookie rules require. In short: without your consent the site collects nothing beyond what any web server records, and it never uses advertising or profiling cookies.
Who the controller is
The data controller is Laura Galli, architect, registered office at via Bramante 15, 20092 Cinisello Balsamo (Milan, Italy), VAT number IT07048090968. You can write to her at info (at) lauragalliarchitetto.com.
What is collected without asking
- The server logs. Like every website, the server hosting this site (Aruba S.p.A., Italy) records every request: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser used. These records serve to deliver the pages and to protect the server from abuse (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted by the hosting provider after the time set by its rules.
- The
wm_consentcookie. A technical cookie of this site that remembers for six months your choices about statistics and the map (accepted or rejected), so that the banner does not ask again on every page. It holds only those choices and needs no consent.
The site has no forms, accounts, comments or newsletter.
Statistics, only if you accept
If you accept the statistics in the banner (Accept all, or Customize), the site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, services of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to count visits and see which pages are read: the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site you come from, the type of device and browser, and the country and city you are in, estimated from your IP address.
- Google Analytics 4 neither records nor stores IP addresses; Google signals, advertising features and the sharing of data with Google for its own purposes are turned off; the data is kept for two months.
- Google Analytics sets the cookies
_gaand_ga_<id>on this site, which last up to two years unless you withdraw your consent. - Google may process the data in the United States: the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which Google LLC has joined, and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
If you reject, or close the banner, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are not loaded and nothing reaches Google.
The map of the studio, only if you accept
The contact page can show a Google Maps map, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Until you accept it, the address of the studio and a link to open it on Google Maps stand in its place, and nothing reaches Google. If you accept external content in the banner, or press Show the map, your browser loads the map from Google's servers: Google receives your IP address and your browser's data, and may set its own cookies under its privacy policy (opens in a new tab). The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time: the map gives way to the address again. The cookies Google has already set on its own domains are deleted from your browser's settings.
If you contact me
If you write to me or call me, I use the data you send (your name, your contact details, your message) only to answer you and, if you wish, to prepare a quote (pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and I keep it for as long as needed for that, or as long as the law requires if you become a client. The Message me on WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited: nothing reaches WhatsApp until you press it, and from then on its privacy policy applies.
Links to other sites
The links to my profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn open in a new tab: those sites have their own privacy policies, and none of their content is loaded in these pages.
If you change your mind
You can change your choices at any time with Cookie preferences, at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent to statistics, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page; what was collected before remains lawful. You can also delete cookies from your browser's settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR), as well as to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (opens in a new tab).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date; if the purposes of the cookies change, the banner will ask for your consent again.
