Taking advantage of Italy's "Piano Casa" extension scheme, it was possible to extend this single-family villa on the slopes of the hills above Santa Margherita Ligure, overlooking the gulf.
The extension made it possible to create two small independent units inside, giving the owners a separate space for their guests.
The works were completed by a new stone staircase and the reworking of the outdoor spaces and of the existing building.
My work covered interior design, outdoor lighting design for the garden, site supervision and art direction.
